المجرد والمزيد فيه

الاسمُ المتكنُ مبنيٌّ في أصل الوضع، إما على ثلاثة أحرف كحجرٍ، وإِما على أربعة كجعفرٍ، وإما على خمسة كسفَرجلٍ، وما زاد على خمسة، فهو مزيد فيه "كخَنْدريس". وما نقصَ عن ثلاثة، فهو محذوف منه "كابٍ ويَدٍ وفَمٍ". وأصلُها "أبَوٌ ويَدْيٌ وفَوْهٌ".

وهو، من حيثُ أحرُفه إما مُجَرّدٌ. وهو ما كانت أحرُفهُ كلُّها أصليّةٌ "كرجلٍ، ودِرْهمٍ، وسَفَرجلٍ". وإما مزيدٌ فيه. وهذا إما مزيد فيه حرف واحد "كحصان وقنديل". وإما حرفان "كمصباح واحرنجام". وإما ثلاثةُ أحرف "كانطلاقٍ واسبِطرارٍ". وإما أربعةُ أحرف "كاستغفارٍ".

والمجرَّدُ، إما ثلاثيٌّ "كوَرَق"، وإما رُباعيٌّ "كسَلْهب"، وإما خُماسيٌّ "كفَرَزدق". والزيدُ فيه، إما ثلاثي الأصول "كسلاح"، وإما رُباعيُّها "كعُصفور"، وإما خُماسيُّها "كقَبَعثرى".

وغايةُ ما ينتهي إليه الاسم بالزيادة سبعةُ أحرفٍ "كاستغفار".

Abstract and more
